Christian Ethics

Annesley College is a school of the Uniting Church in Australia. Spiritual life, Christian values and ethics are an important part of Annesley. As part of caring for your daughter's development, Annesley encourages each girl's spiritual development.

Our full time Chaplain is available for students and their families. Religious And Values Education (RAVE) classes focus on developing personal beliefs and logical thinking in order to navigate moral and ethical issues. Year Level Chapel Services and RAVE ensure each student is encouraged to develop her own spirituality through the knowledge of her own religious and ethical heritage. Students are encouraged to develop a knowledge and understanding of other religions and traditions.

Students from Kindergarten to Year 12 participate in the Mission program, where we show our Christian ethics by caring for others. Each year students support charities of their choice, both in Australia and overseas.

Students are encouraged not to merely donate money, but to involve themselves in activities that promote understanding and solidarity.
