Counselling Services

Annesley College is concerned with each individual student's development in the intellectual, physical, emotional, social and spiritual areas of life. A range of measures is in place to foster the social, spiritual and emotional development of students, ensure their well being and assist them in developing the skills to continue to care for themselves and others after they leave Annesley.

Our Student Counsellor provides support in the areas of personal growth and academic studies as well as guidance in career and subject choice. Our Chaplain further assists in the Pastoral Care programs of the Junior, Middle and Senior Schools. Important components of Annesley College's Pastoral Care System are the Form Teachers, Classroom Teachers and House System.

Program Achieve, which provides instruction in skills for organisation, getting along, confidence and persistence, is conducted with all girls during Form time by their Form Teachers. It aims to increase resilience and emotional well-being by teaching girls how to challenge their negative thoughts and "bounce back" from setbacks.
