PRESS RELEASE 3: DAY 2 - A MORE SUCCESSFUL DAY!

After setting off at 8 am, EOS- The Spirit of Unley had a much smoother run today.
The problems with the inverter overheating which occurred yesterday seem to have been remedied. The car made good time and was on the road for most of the day. The car was trailered for only the last 50 Km to enable the team to reach the next Control Point of Dunmara by 6 pm.

The Annesley team met up with several other solar car teams during the day and will be able to socialize with some of them at the camping grounds in Dunmara. Tonight will be spent tenting under the stars. Everyone is in good spirits and will start even earlier tomorrow to try to reach Tennant Creek under their own steam tomorrow evening.
