Visual
Arts have a distinguished history at Annesley. In recent years over
50% of the students participating in the PES Visual Arts course
have achieved A's.

In
years 8 to 11 the emphasis is on a happy, experimental approach
towards media, techniques and development of skills and attitudes
towards innovation and creativity, making sure that every girl
has success. |
In
year 11, students can choose to study semester courses from a list
that includes Painting and Drawing, Photography and Digital Imagery,
and Sculpture and Ceramics. Each of these courses has a component
whereby the students are expected to develop an independent idea
into a major work in preparation for the requirements at year 12.
Year
12 courses offered include Visual Arts Studies and Art Practical.
