At Annesley, we recognise the value of Volunteers who generously give their time to undertake many roles within our school. Volunteering is a rewarding experience and of great benefit to our community.

How to become a Volunteer at Annesley

To volunteer at Annesley, you will need to undertake the following Application Process. This will involve several steps including obtaining a Working With Children Check (WWCC), online and onsite training.

Application Process

  1. Complete the online Volunteer Application form via the link provided here.
  2. On acceptance a Working With Children Check will be arranged on your behalf.
  3. You will also need to complete an online training module – Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect (RRHAN) via the link here.
  4. Annesley will complete a review of your application and notify you of any further requirements for your volunteer approval. Confirmation as an approved volunteer is required before attending Annesley in a volunteer capacity.

Onsite Training

Once approved, Annesley Volunteers will be required to attend an on-site induction session prior to commencing as a volunteer at Annesley.

This involves:

  • The Volunteer Coordinator guiding you through the sign-in and sign-out procedure at the front office (this must occur on each visit).
  • You will be advised how to report an injury if you injure yourself while volunteering at Annesley.

Thank you for your expression of interest in becoming a volunteer at Annesley. If you have any further questions, please contact the Volunteers Coordinator on volunteer@annesley.sa.edu.au
