Nurturing your child’s curiosity in a warm and engaging space.

As your child ventures out into the world, we are there to encourage them as they experience life in all its wonder. Our educators understand the importance of the early years and approach our teaching and learning with great regard for the trust placed in our hands. We create stimulating age-appropriate provocations to guide your child’s curiosity and partner with you to create a learning story that is unique to your child.

At Annesley’s Early Learning Centre, students from two years of age participate in Units of Inquiry from the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Program (PYP). These units are complemented by the Reggio Emilia philosophy and build a foundation for the innovative teaching practices of Annesley Junior School. We thoughtfully construct our learning environment with nature and play invitations at the heart of our units, creating a safe environment for risk-taking, exploration and fun.

Each of Annesley’s four ELC rooms are led by a qualified Early Childhood Teacher with support from a dedicated team of Co-educators. Our ELC is an accredited long day care centre and has been assessed by ACECQA as Exceeding the National Quality Standards.

A typical day at Annesley’s ELC can be spent with farm animals, in the mud kitchens, or creating play stories in one of our purpose-built nature play spaces.

When the time comes to transition to the Junior School you can be confident our professionals have given your child the very best start.

Annesley’s Early Learning Centre is open 7.30am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday, 49 weeks of the year and caters for students from 2 years of age. To find out more about Annesley’s ELC book a personalised tour today.
